VERSION TYPE, MULTI POST

Type of version:

Marathon can work in two different versions: "real-time" which assures a specific determinism, and an acquisition board which rhythm the “standard” version for the tests which need a less important determinism.

Mode:

Marathon can work in two modes, according to the type of your tests. A mode “Grafcet” adapted to your automatic tests, and a Mode “Enchainment of cycles” adapted to endurances tests.

Multi-post

Marathon can control until 5 tests benches with the same computer, in a synchronous or asynchronous way. This functionality has lots of advantages: reduced cost, compact, simplification of the control of the different benches and of the synchronization of the tests… Each bench has a total independent control: so it’s possible to start or stop a bench while the others work.

 

 

TEST WIZARD

Marathon has a full parametric graphical interface through different dialog boxes. In this way you can configure very easily your acquisition/control and calculated channels.

Test parameters:

The test wizard, step by step, helps you to configure Marathon in a logical way without any errors.


Under Marathon, the tests are composed of fully parametric and configurable channels by each user (control, measure, Analog/Digital, CAN, calculated, PID channels).


Each channel can evolve according to the time and according to a cycle defined by user. These cycles may be linked together, buckled on themselves according to time or measured value... They also may contain generated signals.


To achieve a friendlier user interface, a preview of created signals is displayed during configuration.

Alarms, limits and monitoring:

You can setup alarms, limits, and monitor your signals between two thresholds, to protect test bench and its environment during tests. If an alarm occurs, a digital output can be activated.

VISUALIZATION AND SETUP DURING TEST

Marathon allows you to launch, pause and then resume or launch again a test within a accuracy of one point.

Visualization:

Signal’s visualization during a test is done with: Bargraph, Y(t) or XY displays, curves...

Setup:

Access to several information or setup can be done during the test. For example you can enable or disable alarms. In “manual mode” you can setup actuator’s PID or channels’ offset during test configuration.
